No left- overs!

Stringing and knotting pearl bracelets, necklaces, creating matching earrings and fixing missing pearls from rings and brooches. The left- over strands and loose pearls have been kept in cream bottles and stored away in our jewellery workshop for many years to be used one day.

Having not been used and wanting to offer more of an experience for our customer, we came up with our pearl bracelet workshop. Clients can now sort through 8 years worth of freshwater pearls and semi -precious gemstones to match their eye colour or create a one of a kind gift for a friend. The spacious layout of our studio allows us to host groups of up to 12 people comfortably (though we have had 21 in the past!) Our class has grown in popularity so we stopped doing our own baking and introduced the French catering business L’Epicure to our business plan. Gluten free flavour surprises are being served together with tea and coffee in old English bone china. Most weekends are now booked with high tea parties for our Taranaki brides to be who would like to take nana to their hen party, birthday parties for old and young friends and get togethers for companies from around New Zealand coming to New Plymouth.

We love hosting these parties, and there are no left-over pearls and never left over cake!
